About ELCA

The Edo Ladies Club of Atlanta (ELCA) was founded in 2006 with seven (7) members and currently has seventeen (17) members. ELCA celebrated its 5th year anniversary in April, 2011. The women of ELCA meet once a month for social gatherings as well as raising awareness in the Atlanta area community. We aid in finding a solution to issues affecting our community in Atlanta as well as in Benin City, Edo State. Last year, ECLA co-hosted the visitation of the Crown Prince of Benin City, Prince Eheneden Eradiawa the Edaiken N’ Uselu along with his Excellence the Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole during the Edo Leadership Summit held in Atlanta.

Regularly scheduled meetings of Edo Ladies Club of Atlanta are held on the third Saturday of each month. Hosting is rotated by members at their residence with refreshments. All meetings consist of an agenda, welcoming a new member, projects, & social events, etc.
